Coconut Oil is obtained from nuts of the Coconut Palm and widely distributed in all tropical countries especially along the coast lines.

Coconut oil has a multitude of health benefits, which include but are not limited to skin care, hair care, improving digestion and immunity against a host of infections and diseases.

The fibrous outer husks of the nuts are used for the manufacture of mats, brushes, etc.; the soft part adhering to the inside shell is the copra, containing approximately 65% oil, excellent for margarine, shortening, soap and allied purposes. Copra is pressed in expellers.
